Brown Acres Golf Course

Brown Acres Golf Course opened in 1971 and is one of the City of Chattanooga's two municipal golf courses, alongside the older Donald Ross-routed Brainerd. Course listings credit Gary Weller with the design, an 18-hole, par-72 layout reaching about 6,700 yards that is mostly open but rolls over enough terrain to keep it honest. A Tennessee municipal survey lists both Brown Acres and Brainerd under the city's Director of Golf Courses.
