Painted Dunes Desert Golf Course

Est. 1991 · Ken Dye (with Jeffrey Brauer on the North nine)
Why we love this place

We love Painted Dunes for its sheer desert drama at a city price. Twenty-seven holes carved out of the Chihuahuan Desert beneath the Franklin Mountains, with three nines to mix and match, give El Paso golfers a big-time test without the private-club gate.
