Quail Valley La Quinta Course

Est. 1970 · Jack Miller
Why we love this place

We love La Quinta for its tour-event past at a city price. Jack Miller's 1970 layout helped stage the Houston Open in the 1970s, and Missouri City now keeps it in fine shape as one of the best-value public rounds anywhere in greater Houston.

About Quail Valley La Quinta Course

La Quinta is a 1970 Jack Miller design and one of two 18-hole courses at Quail Valley, a once-private club now owned by the City of Missouri City. A hybrid routing of La Quinta and sister course El Dorado hosted the PGA Tour's Houston Open in 1973 and 1974. It is now public access and regarded as one of the Houston area's best-value municipal rounds.
