Est. 1999 · Bradley Booth
Why we love this place
We love Spring Meadows because it is a family farm turned first-class public golf. Bradley Booth's layout is polished and fun, the Pollard family's care shows everywhere, and the New England Course of the Year honor was well earned. Big-time conditions with a small-town welcome.

About Spring Meadows Golf Club
Spring Meadows Golf Club grew from the Pollard family's dairy farm in Gray. Early in 1998 the Pollard brothers and their father met to discuss turning the farm into an eighteen-hole course, and construction began that May. Maine architect Bradley Booth designed the layout, and the course opened for a nine-hole trial run in October 1999 before expanding to a full eighteen by 2001. The family stayed hands-on throughout, with one brother leaving a long career in education to manage the course and another overseeing construction while also running the family restaurant. The farm's 1922 barn was later converted into an event center, keeping a piece of the property's agricultural past at the heart of the club. Golf Digest called Spring Meadows a venue worth the drive, and the New England Golf Course Owners Association named it its 2021 Golf Course of the Year, the first course in Maine to earn that honor.
