About Tiger Point Golf Club
Tiger Point's East Course opened in 1965 to a Bill Amick design, beginning as nine holes. A second nine was added in 1984 (credited to Ron Garl and Jerry Pate), followed by a 1989 redesign and a Jerry Pate renovation in 2001. In 1988 the club hosted the final Pensacola Open on the PGA Tour, won by Andrew Magee. The East Course was sold to Capstone Golf in 2021.
