The Country Club at Wakefield Plantation opened in 2000 as a private, Hale Irwin-designed championship course on 217 acres within the Wakefield Plantation community near Falls Lake in Raleigh. It operated under the PGA Tour's TPC brand as TPC Wakefield Plantation until McConnell Golf purchased it in 2011. The par-71 layout plays about 7,257 yards and has hosted the Rex Hospital Open (a Korn Ferry Tour event).
