Why we love this place
The Green is the classic walk at Tunxis: tree-lined, par 70 and full of holes where position beats power. With the Farmington River nearby and two more courses next door, it is an easy place to spend a whole day golfing in the Farmington Valley.

About Tunxis Plantation Country Club - Green Course
Tunxis opened in 1962 on farmland beside the Farmington River, beginning with a nine-hole course now called the Red. Over the following decades the club grew into what it calls New England's largest golf complex, with 45 holes across three courses: the nine-hole Red, the 18-hole White, known for its island greens, and this one, the 18-hole Green Course. The Green is a parkland layout that reused holes from the property's older routing. It plays to par 70 and 6,446 yards from the back tees, carrying a 70.4 rating and a 124 slope, a test that rewards accuracy more than length. Operating today as Tunxis Country Club, the facility offers public tee times, a FlexPass program and banquet space.
