Est. 1998 · Dan Maples
Why we love this place
We love Dunegrass for the way Dan Maples let the land lead. Streams, ridges and rock outcrops shape every hole through 300 acres of wooded back dunes. It is a polished, welcoming public eighteen minutes from the beach, and it keeps the golf going even in winter.

About Dunegrass Golf Club
Dunegrass Golf Club was established in 1998 in the coastal town of Old Orchard Beach. Architect Dan Maples laid out the eighteen holes across more than 300 acres of wooded back dunes, and the builders deliberately preserved the property's natural streams, hillsides, and rock outcroppings rather than clearing them away. The result is a par-72 course stretching 6,644 yards from the back tees, with four sets of tees on every hole to suit a wide range of players. The public course quickly built a reputation as one of New England's premier public layouts. Beyond the golf course itself, Dunegrass operates year-round, adding indoor golf simulators for the off-season, the Grill 65 restaurant, and space for weddings, receptions, and tournaments, which makes it a gathering place for the Old Orchard Beach community well beyond the summer season. Its wooded inland setting also offers a quieter counterpoint to the busy beachfront just down the road.
