Est. 1967 · Joseph Rustici (with Charles Rustici)
Why we love this place
Elmridge is a family farm turned 27-hole playground, built by the Rustici siblings by hand and still full of farm character. Mix the nines for a new round every visit, catch the old silo behind the first tee, and enjoy a relaxed shoreline-area welcome.

About Elmridge Golf Course - Red/White Course
Elmridge Golf Course grew out of a family dairy farm in the Pawcatuck section of Stonington. Siblings Joseph and Charles Rustici began converting the land in 1963, designing and building the course themselves, and it opened with nine holes in 1967, though some listings give 1966. The course later expanded to 18 holes and eventually to its current 27, with the West nine dated to 1998 in course listings, and the three nines combine into different eighteens. Reminders of the farm remain on the property: a 40-foot grain silo, now doubling as a cell tower, stands by the parking lot behind the first tee, and the west wall of the old milking barn still stands. Elmridge operates as a daily-fee facility with optional memberships and online tee times, and it hosts tournaments, fundraisers and corporate outings along with an active men's club.
