Why we love this place
We love Mere Creek for its quiet military heritage and easygoing character. Built for Navy families in 1958 and now open to everyone, it is a friendly, playable nine with a range and a relaxed pace. Perfect for a quick loop or sharpening your game before the weekend.

About Mere Creek Golf Club
Mere Creek Golf Club was built in 1958 as the golf course for Naval Air Station Brunswick on Maine's midcoast. For more than three decades the nine-hole course was reserved for military personnel, veterans, and their guests, and it opened to the wider public after 1991. The former air station has since been redeveloped as Brunswick Landing, a hub of new businesses alongside the Brunswick Executive Airport, which now handles civilian air traffic, and the golf course carried on as part of that new community. Located just a few minutes south of Bowdoin College, Mere Creek offers what the club calls an extremely playable nine-hole layout, supported by a clubhouse, pro shop, driving range, and putting green. Memberships and daily play are both available, making the former base course a relaxed, accessible option for golfers across the Brunswick area, and a quiet reminder of the Navy community that shaped this part of town for half a century.
