Est. 2000 · Brian Silva
Why we love this place
Breakfast Hill is a Brian Silva design laid gently over old family farmland a short drive from Portsmouth. We love its wooded, rolling holes, a par 71 that rewards smart placement over brute length, and the feeling of a public course on ground one family has held for generations.

About Breakfast Hill Golf Club
Breakfast Hill Golf Club sits on about 170 acres in Greenland, a few miles southwest of Portsmouth, on land that has stayed with the same family for well over two centuries. The property was worked as farmland until 1956. In 1997 plans were made to turn it into an upscale public golf course, and architect Brian Silva was hired to lay out the holes across the gently undulating, wooded ground. The 18-hole course was completed on June 30, 2000, and was unveiled to golfers that summer. It plays as two returning nines to a par of 71, measuring about 6,500 yards from the back tees, with the 396-yard seventh and the 461-yard eleventh among its toughest holes. The club has stayed a daily-fee facility open to the public, with memberships available for players who want to make it their home course, a driving range and a large putting green. Golfweek has regularly listed it among the best courses you can play in New Hampshire since the mid-2000s.
