About Ocean Edge Resort & Golf Club
Ocean Edge is the 18-hole private course at Ocean Edge Resort & Golf Club, a 429-acre resort in Brewster built around the Nickerson family's 1907 Fieldstone Hall estate. The resort opened in 1986 after Corcoran Jennison developed the property, with the course laid out by Geoffrey Cornish and Brian Silva; Nicklaus Design reworked it in 2007, and the club now bills it as Cape Cod's only Nicklaus Design course. It plays about 7,000 yards to a par of 72 through rolling, tree-lined terrain with real elevation change, is managed by Troon, and is open only to resort guests and golf members. The signature 17th is an uphill, 600-yard, dogleg-left par 5, and the par-5 ninth asks for a carry over a 50-yard ravine.
