Est. 1964 · Phil Wogan
Why we love this place
Candia Woods is the course we would send a nervous beginner and a busy single-digit to on the same day. Wide fairways, no forced carries and a big practice range keep it relaxed, and its Friendliest Course tagline actually fits.

About Candia Woods Golf Links
Candia Woods Golf Links opened in 1964 on South Road in Candia, just outside Manchester, with an 18-hole layout credited to architect Phil Wogan. Built on flat, open ground, it was designed as a forgiving public course, with broad fairways, sand bunkers guarding fairways and greens, water in play on about five holes and no forced carries. Today it plays to roughly 6,500 yards from the back of six sets of tees, at around par 72. Its greens are fast but subtle, and the course offers one local tip to newcomers: putts tend to break toward Route 101. Candia Woods is operated together with The Oaks under the CandiaOaks banner and calls itself New Hampshire's Friendliest Course, with a pace-of-play target under four hours and fifteen minutes. A GPS cart fleet, a 25-bay driving range, a short-game area, leagues, junior instruction and a farmhouse event venue round out the property.
