Why we love this place
Indian Mound proves you do not need 7,000 yards to test a golfer. Water on seven holes, tricky par 3s and a quiet Lakes Region setting make it a fun, honest 18 we would happily play every summer weekend.

About Indian Mound Golf Club
Indian Mound Golf Club in Center Ossipee was designed by architect Phil Wogan, who laid out a par-70, 18-hole course the club describes as player-friendly yet challenging. Its front nine is relatively level, while the back nine moves over gently rolling terrain. GolfPass lists 1968 as the year the course was built, though one directory gives 1978. Water comes into play on at least seven holes, the par 3s are known as a real test, and trees frame many shots. The course measures about 5,675 yards from the back tees and 4,713 from the forward tees, a length that rewards accuracy over power. Recent improvements include a renovated first hole that opened in 2010 and a new cart fleet in 2018. Located on Route 16B in the Lakes Region, the semi-private club is open to the public and welcomes visitors from mid-April into November.
