Why we love this place
Jack O'Lantern is a classic White Mountains resort course, a short stroll from your condo to the first tee with mountains all around. We love it for a relaxed golf getaway off I-93, and we are rooting for its new operators as they bring it back.

About Jack O'Lantern Resort
The golf course at Jack O'Lantern Resort dates to 1945, according to GolfPass, and directory listings credit its design to Bob Keating. It is an 18-hole resort course on Daniel Webster Highway (Route 3) in Woodstock, near Exit 30 of Interstate 93 in the White Mountains, playing to par 70 from the white tees with bent grass greens and fairways. The resort grew around the course, with condominiums lining the fairways, including a building along the first hole that dates to 1997, and the course has traditionally been open to both lodging guests and outside players, with walking permitted and a pro shop on site. In 2023 a real estate listing reported the recent sale of the golf course to a new operator, with improvements to the golf experience and more food and beverage options expected. The resort's own website has since gone offline, so golfers should confirm current rates and tee times by phone.
