Est. 1913
Why we love this place
Montague has been welcoming golfers since 1913, and it still feels like a well-kept secret. The White River winds through the property, the par 3s bite, and the back-nine par 5s give you a chance to get strokes back. Classic central Vermont golf.

About Montague Golf Club
Montague Golf Club in Randolph opened for play in 1913, making it one of the oldest golf courses still operating in Vermont and a fixture of central Vermont golf for more than a century. The course winds through the Green Mountains with the Third Branch of the White River running through the property and fronting many of the holes. Today it is an 18-hole layout made up of two nine-hole routings: the front nine includes three demanding par 3s, while the back nine features a pair of strong par 5s. The championship course plays to par 69 at 5,689 yards, with a rating of 67.1 and slope of 120. A recently added back tee on the 16th hole turned that par 3 into a 230-yard test from the tips. The club is on Randolph Avenue, close to the village center.
