Est. 1970 · Geoffrey Cornish (with Bill Robinson)
Why we love this place
Mount Snow gives you classic Cornish mountain golf: elevated tees, big views of the Green Mountains, water on 11 holes and a monster 624-yard par 5. It is a full day's adventure in southern Vermont and a great reason to visit the ski country in summer.

About Mount Snow Golf Club
Mount Snow's golf course grew out of the ski resort that Walt Schoenknecht founded in 1954, when he bought a 500-acre farm at the base of the mountain in West Dover and named the area after the farm's previous owner. The 18-hole course, designed by Geoffrey Cornish with Bill Robinson, opened for play in 1970, giving the resort a summer draw to match its winter trails. Set at roughly 2,000 feet in the Green Mountains, it is a true mountain layout, with elevated tees and greens, uneven lies and a few blind shots. The front nine is open and scenic, while the back nine winds through wooded terrain, and water affects 11 holes. From the back tees it stretches to 6,943 yards and includes a 624-yard par 5. Golf Digest has rated it among Vermont's top five courses.
